What is the Institute for Research Middle Eastern Policy?

IRmep: Defining and promoting America’s Real Interests in the Middle East

The Institute for Research Middle Eastern Policy (IRmep) studies US-Middle East policy formulation.  Founded in 2002, the Institute became an independent private non-profit tax-exempt organization in 2003.

  • IRmep promotes the peaceful settlement of regional and international disputes by refocusing US policy toward peace, justice, economic development and rule of law. 

  • IRmep produces research, publications, focused educational events and other projects.  

  • IRmep encourages warranted law enforcement oversight of all aspects affecting US policymaking, including lobbies, foreign interests, and related campaign contributions.
