68% of Americans Prefer The Israel Lobby Be Regulated As A Foreign Agent - 3/11/2017

Most Americans appear to support a return to stricter enforcement of the 1938 Foreign Agents Registration Act. Foreign agents active on behalf of a foreign principal must comply with disclosure laws. This disclosure limits their ability to claim major public relations and lobbying campaign are—in fact—expressions of grassroots and popular will.

Since the 1970s, the Department of Justice has stopped trying to enforce the law after multiple attempts against AIPAC's parent organization (the American Zionist Council), the Zionist Organization of America and other key organizations.

Question: Until 1970 the US enforced laws requiring public disclosures when Israeli government & surrogate programs sought to influence U.S. public opinion and lobby congress.

US should be regulating such activities 68.4%
US should not be regulating such activities 28.9%
Other 2.7%
